David Munoz Has Joined the Schlitt Law Firm as an Associate
David Munoz of Islip Terrace has joined The Schlitt Law Firm of Huntington, New York as an Associate.
David Munoz of Islip Terrace has joined The Schlitt Law Firm of Huntington, New York as an Associate. A Long Island native, Mr. Munoz graduated from St. Joseph’s College and the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. Carol L. Schlitt, the founding partner of the Schlitt Law Firm, said, “David brings a profound commitment to justice combined with superb legal skills. He is a great addition to our firm.”
Before joining the Schlitt Law Firm, David spent several years working on civil rights and human rights issues. He worked with the U.S. Department of Justice in both their Immigration Division and Community Service Operations. He has also worked at the Human Rights Campaign and in the immigration clinic at American University. Ms. Schlitt said, “While still early in his career, Mr. Munoz has amassed strong and extensive experience working with clients and acquiring insightful legal experience.”
While at law school, Mr. Munoz achieved an excellent academic record. He was named a Dean’s Fellow and served as the Secretary, Events, & Communications Director for the Lambda Law Society. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s College on Long Island.
