Police ID Man Killed in Robert Moses Crash
The 37-year-old was driving a commercial vehicle when he crashed on the causeway Friday morning.

WEST ISLIP, NY - State Police have identified the driver killed in a crash on the Robert Moses Causeway Friday morning as Nathan A. Bolden, 37, of Flushing.
The commercial vehicle he was driving is registered to Call-A-Head out of Broad Channel, N.Y.

The accident is still under investigation and the State Police is asking any witness to call (631) 756-3300.

WEST ISLIP, NY - State Police announced that all lanes of travel have been reopened as of 2 p.m. following the fatal crash on the Robert Moses Causeway on Friday morning.

WEST ISLIP, NY - State Police confirmed a fatal crash was reported on the Robert Moses Causeway in West Islip Friday morning.
Officers received the call for the crash at 10:11 a.m.
A commercial vehicle was traveling northbound on the causeway, south of the main span bridge.
The vehicle lost control, rolled over crossing the southbound lanes coming to rest on the southbound shoulder. The driver was ejected from the car during the incident. Police have not yet determined the cause of death.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area. The southbound lanes of the Robert Moses Causeway before the main span are closed as of Friday afternoon.
