Fire Destroys Baywood Home
All of the residents escaped without serious injuries but several cats may have died in the blaze.
BAYWOOD, NY - A Baywood home was destroyed in a fire early Tuesday morning.
The blaze broke out at a Martinstein Avenue home at about 5:59 a.m.
According to a Newsday report, all of the occupants escaped from the home without serious injuries but it appears as though several cats might have died.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Town of Islip Fire Marshal.
The Brentwood, Deer Park, Bay Shore and West Islip Fire Departments all assisted in putting out the blaze.
