Flanagan Named to Preseason Coaches' All-Conference List

Former standout Ryan Flanagan has been named to the ACC Preseason All-Conference team as voted by the coaches, InsideLacrosse.com has reported.

Flanagan, who is a star defensemen with the UNC Tarheels, will lead an extremely talented team in the Atlantic Coast Conference this spring.

Flanagan earned Co-National Defenseman of the Year last season and was also recently named a UNC team captain.  And this season, he'll be joined by fellow West Islip grad , who himself was tabbed as .  

The coaches ranked UNC preseason No. 2 in the conference also.  Virginia was voted No.1, Marlyand No. 3 followed by defending National Champion Duke.
