Fun in the Sun Fundraiser Is a Hit
Many businesses, community members contribute to the cause

On June 17, Lionheart and West Islip High School DECA, under the leadership of advisor Diana Saadat, held a fashion show fundraiser at La Grange Inn. The purpose of the fundraiser was to raise money for the DiPalma family.Â
Joseph DiPalma, the popular West Islip Chamber of Commerce president who passed away recently, was still felt in the hearts of those who attended the fundraiser. His daughters, Jaimie, the DECA secetary and Brook, got together with their friends to put on a fashion show and dinner.Â
Before the show, Jaimie DiPalma was excited about modeling and was thankful for the outpouring of support from the community.Â
