Group Of Middle School Students Approached By Man: District
The man attempted to engage a group of middle school girls while at a bus stop on Wednesday, officials say.
WEST ISLIP, NY - A group of middle school students were approached by an older man at a bus stop in West Islip on Wednesday, the West Islip School District announced in a letter to the community.
The West Islip School District was recently informed of an incident at a bus stop yesterday morning.
According to the letter, an older white male driving an early model grey pickup truck approached the group of students at the intersection of Westminster Lane and Pine Avenue.

The police were notified.
