How To Help LI Single Mother Seriously Injured In Car Crash
A local resident recently started a fundraiser on behalf of her friend who was seriously injured in a crash last month.

WEST ISLIP, NY - A West Islip resident started an online fundraiser on behalf of a single mother who was seriously injured in a car crash last month.
Koryn Tadler started a campaign on GoFundMe to raise money for her friend Lauren, a fellow St. John the Baptist alum.
According to the page, the mother of a 4-year-old son Nicholas, was involved in a serious car crash on Feb. 27. As a result she was sent to the ICU for treatment of her injuries.

"She has always been a person to help others," Tadler wrote on the page. "A hard worker, good friend, sister, mother and daughter."
The goal of the page is to raise a total of $10,000 to help Lauren. As of Tuesday, the page has raised a total of $2,760.

"We need all the prayers we can get she pulls through and when she does she will need a lot of help," Tadler wrote. "If we can all pull together to help this amazing women and mother."
