How Nassau, Suffolk Community Colleges Stack Up Against Nation's Best
WalletHub recently released their full list of the best community colleges in the state.

WalletHub recently released their list of the best community colleges in the U.S. for 2017.
Both Nassau and Suffolk Community College didn't make the top 100 or even the top 200 in the U.S. Nassau was ranked No. 227 while Suffolk was ranked at No. 283.
In order to determine the best community colleges, WalletHub evaluated a total of 728 schools based on three dimensions: cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes.

According to WalletHub, each dimension had a total of 14 metrics which were graded on a scale out of 100. The metrics were then averaged to come up with a total score.

The highest ranking school in New York State was Stella and Charles Guttman Community College in New York City which ranked No. 4 in the U.S.
The top spot went to Leech Lake Tribal College in Minnesota.
