Legis. Barraga Honors Veteran Arthur J. Laufer Sr.

Suffolk County Legis. Tom Barraga, R-West Islip, recently presented a proclamation to Arthur J. Laufer Sr. who was the honoree of the West Islip American Legion Post’s Annual Veterans Day Dinner and Dance.

“Artie Laufer has devoted over forty years to the American Legion holding positions of major responsibility at the local, state, and national levels. He is a shining example of a selfless human being who has devoted his life to the service of his country and the well-being of his fellow veterans,” Barraga said. “We are honored to have him as a resident of West Islip.”
