Man Critically Injured in Bay Shore Crash
The accident occurred early Tuesday, police say.

A 24-year-old West Babylon was critically injured in a single-car crash in Bay Shore early Tuesday.
According to police, James Kennedy, was driving 2008 Ford sedan west on Montauk Highway when he lost control of the vehicle near the intersection of Gardiner Drive, crashed into a wooded area and struck a fence at 12:33 a.m. Kennedy was partially ejected from the vehicle, police said.
He was transported via Bay Shore Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he is listed in critical condition.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
