Man Robs East Islip Bank
The man handed a teller a note demanding cash Wednesday afternoon, police say.

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday afternoon in East Islip.
Police say a man entered the Chase bank, located at 2650 Sunrise Highway, approached a teller at about 2:30 p.m. and presented a note demanding cash.
The teller complied and the man fled southbound through the parking lot on foot.

The suspect is described as white, between 35 and 40-years-old, about 6-feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a light-colored baseball hat, light-colored t-shirt, dark jeans and sunglasses.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
