Man Threatened To Shoot Employee During 7-Eleven Robbery: PD

The thief was confronted by the employee after he was caught trying to steal 3 cases of beer, police say.

WEST BABYLON, NY - A man tried to steal three cases of beer from a West Babylon convenience store earlier this week, according to Suffolk Police

The incident was reported Monday at 8 p.m.

A man entered 7-Eleven on 550 Straight Path, stole three cases of beer and left the store, police said.

Once outside, an employee confronted him. The man stated he had a gun and threatened to shoot the employee.

He then dropped the beer and fled without proceeds.

No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
