Obituary: Cecilia T. Howrigan, of West Islip, Dies at 83

Died: December 4, 2016

Visitation: Sunday, December 11 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home on 1225 Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Service: Monday, December 12 starting at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church on 455 Hunter Avenue in West Islip.

Obituary: Cecilia T. Howrigan, of West Islip, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4. She was 83.

She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Howrigan.

She is survived by her children Kathleen (Kevin) Weitsman, Cecilia (Dennis) Ryan, Patricia (Thomas) Fauvell and John J. Howrigan, Jr. as well as her grandchildren Christopher, Meghan, Dennis, Andrew and Caitlin and her great-grandchildren of Madison, Brooks, Ashton, Zachary and Madison.

In addition, Howrigan is survived by her siblings Virginia (Chuck) and Lauretta (The late Robert) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Interment will take place at the Calverton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
