Obituary: Linda Doherty

Linda Doherty of West Islip, caring mother of Dena, Marc and Tyler, wife of 36 years to Richard Doherty passed away on August 24th at the Visiting Nurses of Suffolk Hospice House in East Northport after losing her battle with cancer. Linda was a long time Girl Scout Leader, past PTA SEPTA President, tireless advocate, loyal friend and proud volunteer in many capacities at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Babylon, 576 Deer Park Avenue Babylon. A memorial service will be celebrated in Linda’s honor at Cross of Christ on Saturday October 4th at 11am with a memorial luncheon to follow in the social hall.
