Oquenock Students Enjoy A Virtual Halloween Parade
Students walked around the gymnasium in their Halloween costumes to safely celebrate the holiday.

Faculty and staff at West Islip’s Oquenock Elementary School worked together to create a virtual Halloween parade for students. Teachers brought their classes down to the gymnasium to walk a lap in their costumes. Staff members recorded the students walking and merged the clips to create the virtual parade.

“Even though it was different from years past, Oquenock students and families were still able to have a special and memorable experience,” said school social worker Erin Harris.
