Pedestrian Found Seriously Injured After Hit-And-Run
The man was discovered lying in the roadway early Sunday. Evidence indicated he was struck by a car that left the scene, police say.
WEST BABYLON, NY - A pedestrian was found seriously injured in a roadway after being involved in a hit-and-run in West Babylon early Sunday, according to Suffolk Police.
Officers responded to a 911 report of an injured man lying in the roadway on Little East Neck Road at 1:40 a.m.
Evidence at the scene indicated the man had been struck by a motor vehicle.

The man, who has not yet been identified by police, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
