Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Car
The driver of the car was not injured, police say.

BAYWOOD, NY - A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car in Baywood on Saturday night, according to Suffolk Police.
A man was walking on Pine Aire Drive, near Harrison Avenue, when he was struck by a 1996 Honda Civic that was traveling westbound on Pine Aire Drive at 10:45 p.m.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The driver of the Civic, 20-year-old Cesar Gonzalez Jr., of Brentwood, was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
