UPDATE: Woman Killed In West Islip Hit-And-Run Identified, Police Say

WEST ISLIP, NY — A woman who was killed after a hit-and-run crash in West Islip on Monday night has been identified, Suffolk County Police said.

A vehicle was traveling westbound on Montauk Highway, near Pease Lane, when it struck Tracey Dorismond, 32, of Brentwood, in the roadway at about 10:30 p.m, police said. The vehicle fled the scene going westbound, police said.

Dorismond was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
