Police Blotter: Recent Crimes In West Islip

Want to know what's happening in your neighborhood? Check out the following crimes reported in Smithtown over the past week as reported by Suffolk Police:

• August 1: An unknown person slashed the tires of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee and a 2017 Honda on Hunter Avenue.
• August 1: Two people stole three bottles of Hennessy from Chanda's Liquor on 777 Udall Road.
• August 2: Someone stole a bicycle from the driveway of a home on Everdell Avenue.
• August 3: Someone stole a pocket knife from a 2016 Chevrolet on Hall Street.
• August 5: A passenger entered a bus on Muncey Road and started yelling and cursing. He then through sunglasses at someone and a fistfight ensued. No charges were filed.
