Sharing the Love at Southside Hospital
Here's how the hospital helped commemorate Valentine's Day for patients.
The food and nutrition department at Southside Hospital ensured that each patient received a red carnation and card this past Sunday to commemorate Valentine’s Day.
The flowers and cards were distributed with the patients’ meals.
“It’s hard to be in the hospital, away from your loved ones, especially on holidays such as Valentine’s Day,” said Linda Allison, director of nutritional services at Southside. “These two items helped to cheer patients up this weekend and show that we at Southside care for them.”
