Southside Hospital Donates Much-Needed Toiletries to the Family Service League

Southside Hospital is committed to serving its community.

Southside Hospital’s community relations department donated several boxes of toiletries to the Family Service League recently.

These personal items, including toothpaste and tissues, will be given to more than 1,000 Family Service League clients who throughout the year need these items.

“Southside Hospital is committed to serving the area residents in every way that it can,” said Donna Moravick, NP, executive director of the hospital. “We appreciate the Family Service League’s partnership and service to our community.”

Karen Boorshtein, president and CEO of Family Service League, said, “Family Service League is proud to work with Southside Hospital and Northwell Health. Their continued generous support has helped us provide a broad range of social service and behavioral health programs for individuals in crisis. The Family Service League and Southside Hospital share a vision of providing excellent care to those in need. We are grateful for their role in helping Long Island families mobilize their strengths and improve the quality of their lives at home and in the community.”
