Town Of Islip To Host 9/11 Memorial Ceremony This Week
The event will take place on the 18th anniversary of the tragic attack in 2001.

ISLIP, NY - The Town of Islip will be hosting the annual 9/11 memorial ceremony this week.
In remembrance of the tragic attack on Sept. 11, 2001, the event will commemorate those whose lives were lost that day.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 11 starting at 5 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Park located at Islip Town Hall on 655 Main Street in Islip.

Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, members of the Town Board, members of Clergy, representatives from local Fire Departments, SCPD and Ambulance Corps will join local elected officials and residents at a ceremony to pay tribute to all those whose lives were lost on 9/11, including the 90 men and women from the Town of Islip
