In the episode that aired on Monday night, Noah spoke for five minutes on Trump's visit to Brentwood, specifically the comments he made which appeared to promote police brutality.
Trump was on Long Island last Friday to discuss the MS-13 street gang that has terrorized the area. Trump spoke to to an audience primarily comprising FBI, Homeland Security, and law enforcement representatives at Suffolk County Community College

During his speech, Trump stated his administration is working "to dismantle, decimate and eradicate MS-13."
"But I have a simple message today for every gang member and criminal alien that are threatening so violently our people: We will find you, we will arrest you, we will jail you, and we will deport you," he said.
Trump then went on to tell police that they should be more rough with those in custody.
"And when you see these towns and when you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon -- you just see them thrown in, rough — I said, please don’t be too nice," Trump said. "Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you're protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over? Like, don’t hit their head and they've just killed somebody — don't hit their head. I said, 'You can take the hand away, okay?'"
In response, Noah said that many police and law enforcement groups have said that Trump had "gone too far" and his words have undone community relations between police while others defended it calling it a joke.
"If you don't like what Trump said it's a joke, if you do like then it's policy," he said.
Noah then went on to say that Suffolk County was the "worse place to make that joke" referencing the case against Chief James Burke who sentenced to 46 months in federal prison in 2016 for assault and obstruction of justice.
