Two Brentwood Residents Charged With Driving Drunk: Police

The man and woman had BAC levels over 0.14 percent, police say.

Two Brentwood people were arrested last week for drunk driving within the Town of Islip, according to State Police.

On Thursday, 35-year-old Ariannys L. Nunez, was arrested for after a traffic stop for failing to maintain the lane, while traveling on the Southern State Parkway, police said.

Nunez was transported to State Police headquarters in Brentwood and processed without incident.

She provided a positive breath sample of 0.15 percent BAC, police said.

Nunez was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to Suffolk County First District Court on August 17.

On Saturday, 30-year-old Andre D. Carroll, was arrested after a traffic stop for having no plates affixed to his motorcycle, while traveling southbound on Wicks Road, police said.

Carroll was transported to State Police headquarters in Brentwood and processed without incident.

He provided a positive breath sample of 0.16 percent BAC, police said.

Carroll was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to Suffolk County First District Court on July 28.
