Season: Fluke, Bluefish, Striped Bass

Overview: Fluke fishing has been solid the past few days, loads of shorts and a dozen or so keepers. 5:30 p.m. bass trip on the "Fishfinder" from Captree State Park yielded action from both bass and blues.

Best Lures: (Bluefish only)  ML-007 Diamond Jigs, (red and green), 5" Bass Assassins (white and pink)

Catch of the Day:  5.5lb fluke, caught in the Great South Bay

Catch of the Week: 7.46lb fluke, caught in Great South Bay

Quote of the day: "The fluking is picking up, and bluefish up to 5lbs in the bay had customers busy all night long," said Walter Czekai of "Fishfinder"

Forecast: Showers and thunderstorms into Sunday then the wind will switch to the north/northeast, possibly cleaning up the waves for some left over fun Sunday afternoon.
