Despite Hurricane Earl making headlines, the ocean has no advisories in effect yet.  However, warnings should be rolling in late Thursday into Friday.  Here's what you can expect at Robert Moses on Tuesday.

Overview: Fluke has been very good, both in the bay and in the ocean.  Big Bluefish (up to 14 pounds) have been seen and caught.  Also sea bass and weakfish in the mix.

Best Lures: (Bluefish only)  ML-007 Diamond Jigs, (red and green), 5" Bass Assassins (white and pink).

Overview:  Lingering swell is in the water this morning with clean conditions. Winds are currently light NW and should turn more westerly later on today. Surf is inconsistent and small but there are some clean ones for the small wave equipment.  Look for bigger sets to roll in Thursday night into Friday morning.
