West Islip Woman With Bipolar Disorder Reported Missing: PD

Patricia Rubino, 67, was last seen leaving her Eaton Lane home at about 8:30 a.m. on Monday, police say.

UPDATE: Police said the woman was found safe on Tuesday morning.

WEST ISLIP, NY —A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing West Islip man with bipolar disorder, Suffolk County Police said.

Patricia Rubino, 67, was last seen leaving her Eaton Lane home at about 8:30 a.m. on Monday, and failed to appear at two doctor’s appointments in West Islip later that morning, police said.

She was last seen driving a white Mercedes A220, police said, and her car was possibly in Freeport.

Rubino is white, 4 feet 9 inches tall and about 130 pounds, police said. She has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket and white sneakers, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Rubino’s location to call 911 or Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.

Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
