The Lions fell to 0-2 in League II play with a 44-41 loss to Whitman (2-0) Tuesday evening. Kyle Turri led the Lions with 13 points and Chris Anderson added 11 in the loss.

Girls Basketball

The Lions (0-2) couldn't keep up with a tough Whitman (2-0) squad and dropped their second straight league game, 61-24. Rainy Hodgson had more than half the scoring output for the Lions with 14 of her team's 24 points.

Boys Bowling

Chris Cappellini led the Lions with a 576 series and 225 in Game 2. Chris Dillman had a 552 series, Sean Kelso bowled a 560, and Phil Siconolfi had a 549 series for the Lions fifth win of the season.
