Woman Airlifted To Hospital After West Islip Crash
A pickup truck struck a tree Saturday night.
WEST ISLIP, NY – A woman was airlifted to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in West Islip Saturday night, police said.
The crash occurred on Udall Road at Higbie Drive around 10:25 p.m. when a pickup truck struck a tree. A woman inside, who police have not identified, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County Police helicopter. Her injuries are not considered life threatening, police told Patch.
The investigation is continuing.
