The 100 Best Middle Schools In the Hudson Valley For 2017: Report

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Five of the nation’s top 100 middle schools are right here in the Hudson Valley, and when it comes to middle schools, Westchester is the place to live, according to Niche.com, which crunched the numbers as part of its new school rankings for 2017.

According to Niche.com, Robert E. Bell Middle School in Chappaqua is ranked the 53rd best middle school in the country; with H.C. Crittenden Middle School in the Byram Hills district right behind it at No. 54; Seven Bridges Middle School in Chappaqua 57th; Briarcliff Middle School No. 81; and Scarsdale Middle School No. 97.

Niche.com says it calculated its rankings based on reviews from students and parents along with test scores, student-teacher ratio, teacher quality, diversity and the overall quality of a school district.
