2 Former White Plains PBA Officials Under Investigation For Theft

The matter has been referred to the county district attorney's office.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Two former White Plains Police Benevolent Association high-ranking officials are under investigation after being accused of stealing money from the union. A statement released Wednesday from White Plains Mayor Tom Roach said that the matter has been referred to the county district attorney's office.

The officials have not been named but sources told the Journal News that a former PBA president, Rob Riley, and a former treasurer, James Parlow, are being investigated.

Both men filed for retirement in past few weeks; one is on modified desk duty, the other is using time off and not working.
