$90,000 Stolen from Safe of White Plains Auto Shop

A suspect is described as a well-dressed man.

White Plains police is investigating the alleged theft of $90,000 from USA Pro Auto Shop on Mamaroneck Avenue.

According to media reports, a well-dressed man, who is seen on surveillance tape, is believed to have taken the cash when no one was in the shop. News 12 Westchester reports the money was in an unlocked safe behind the counter.

The theft occurred on March 18, and police asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, according to The Journal News.
