All-Beethoven Festival in Yonkers

Yonkers Philharmonic will present its all-Beethoven festival concert on January 27.

Yonkers Philharmonic will present its all-Beethoven festival concert on January 27. The fourth annual concert was originally initiated in memory of the late Maestro James Sadewhite, former Yonkers Philharmonic Conductor and Music Director. The community orchestra, comprised of about 60 professional and amateur musicians, will perform Symphony No.3 Eroica as well as the only triple concerto composed by Beethoven. Triple Concerto was written for piano, cello and violin and will feature three professional soloists: Daniel Phillips (violin), Marcy Rosen (cello) and Morey Ritt (piano). The Beethoven festival, the Philharmonic’s second of four season events, will take place at Saunders Trade and Technical High School in Yonkers. For more info, visit yonkersphilharmonic.com.
