County Executive Ken Jenkins and the Westchester County Office of Economic Development are inviting local business owners to participate in a brief survey to help identify the needs, challenges, and priorities facing Westchester's business community. The survey, which will take less than 5 minutes to complete, can be accessed by visiting WestchesterCatalyst.com and via the Office of Economic Development's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn).
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: "We are asking Westchester business owners to share insights into the challenges and opportunities that their businesses are facing. These insights will help our Office of Economic Development to hone the resources and support available to our business community. Whether you are a new business owner or longtime business owner, running a for-profit business or non-profit venture, I encourage you to carve out a few minutes to take this important survey."
Westchester County Director of Policy and Programs, Small Business and Chambers of Commerce Shari Rosen Ascher said: "We understand that many businesses are facing unprecedented challenges, ranging from the rapid evolution of technology, including AI, to difficulties recruiting and retaining top talent, and barriers to growing their client base. Our goal is to gather insights from Westchester business owners that will help inform programs and resources to help strengthen our local economy. When we surveyed business owners following COVID-19, we received a wealth of invaluable insights, and we are now looking forward to receiving more timely feedback from our small business community."
The Westchester County Business Survey is open to all local business owners and will remain open through October 8. Businesses across diverse disciplines – from manufacturing and professional services to life sciences and finance, and beyond – are all encouraged to share their insights by completing this short survey. This is an opportunity for business leaders to amplify their voices and help guide the direction of future programming and resources offered by the Westchester County Office of Economic Development.
The short survey is available here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/K8CT73B. A link to the survey also appears on the homepage of the Westchester Catalyst website (WestchesterCatalyst.com) and is available via the Office of Economic Development's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn).
