The initiative from regional construction groups aims to steer young adults toward skilled trades, emphasizing paid training, apprenticeships, and long-term, middle-class careers without heavy college debt, including expanded opportunities for women and underrepresented groups.
• Marucci scores twice, Ketcham pitches shutout in win over Mount Vernon (newsbreak.com) — Ketcham's football team just earned a 12-0 homecoming win over Mount Vernon, and now their attention turns to visiting White Plains on October 9. For local fans, that means the Tigers will host a Storm squad gaining confidence, with a defense that has allowed single digits in back-to-back games and a running attack led by Joseph Marucci's two-touchdown performance.
