Faust Harrison of White Plains, N.Y., has been named “Acoustic Piano Dealer of the Year” by the Keyboard Division of Yamaha Corporation of America, the world’s largest musical instrument manufacturer.
The award was presented to the keyboard retailer at the 2013 NAMM music products show held in Anaheim, Calif., January 24 – 27, 2013. They join nine other music retailers honored by Yamaha at the event.
Yamaha recognized Faust Harrison for its outstanding record of acoustic piano sales, as well as for its impressive consistent growth as a piano retail business.
Accepting the award from Yamaha Keyboard division top management were Faust Harrison representatives Sam Varon and Josh Faust.

Last year, they won our ‘Hybrid Piano Dealer of the Year,’ and this year ‘Acoustic Piano Dealer of the Year’ award,” said Bob Heller, Yamaha Corporation of America, National Sales Director, Keyboard Division. “Faust Harrison is clearly a comprehensive dealer with a very broad skill set.”

Faust Harrison began as Faust Pianos in 1983, operating from the Faust household studio. It is now a multi-store retailer with locations in New York, White Plains and Long Island. Once a month, at the White Plains location, world-famous and rising musicians perform on the dealer’s Yamaha CFX grand piano. Faust Harrison’s new showroom location in Long Island offers the Yamaha Music School, which provides music instruction to children and adults of all ages, as well as a performance area for student recitals, concerts and master classes. In 2012, Faust Harrison won the “AvantGrand Dealer of the Year” award from Yamaha.
