WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., (December 13, 2011) Wilson Elser and RPW Group, Inc. are pleased to announce the signing of the largest lease in Westchester County for 2011 at 1133 Westchester Avenue, a 600,000-square-foot Class-A building in White Plains, N.Y.

Wilson Elser first opened its doors in White Plains in 1990 with 22,000 square feet. The signing of this 15-year, 125,000-square-foot lease marks the firm’s continued commitment to staying in White Plains and Westchester County.
With more than 300 attorneys and staff, Wilson Elser’s White Plains office is Westchester County’s largest law firm. Nationally, the firm is one of the country’s largest law firms, ranking 43 on the National Law Journal’s NLJ 250.

In addition to providing greater space efficiencies, 1133 Westchester Avenue offers tenants rich amenities including a cafeteria, executive dining room, coffee bar, sundries store, state-of-art gym, full-service hair salon, day care center, shuttle bus to the White Plains train station, dry cleaners, car wash and conference center. The building also sits on a lush 74-acre site that includes hiking trails and streams.

Wilson Elser will be engaging its architect John F. Borrelli to design the space and oversee construction. The firm first hired Mr. Borrelli in 2000 to design its original space. Since that time, he and his team have worked on more than 20 office projects throughout the country for Wilson Elser.
Wilson Elser was represented by The John Buck Company, along Howard Properties LTD in this transaction. RPW Group was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
Wilson Elser will join an impressive roster of tenants including Chubb Insurance, EMC, Wells Fargo Securities, IBM, Provident Bank, George Little Management, Westchester County Association and ITT, which is headquartered in the building.
Wilson Elser’s lease commences in December of 2013. The firm plans to move once the build out is completed which could be as early as the summer of 2013.
