Ann Conte, Social Worker and Writer

Ann L. Conte, a White Plains resident, died May 25, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born September 23, 1943 in Yonkers, NY to Michael and Frances Giustino. She married Victor Conte in White Plains in 1973.

Ann worked for AT&T in White Plains for several years and then went on to work as a Social Worker in various nursing homes in Westchester. She was a published writer, having her works printed in several magazines and the New York Times.

She is survived by her husband Victor of White Plains and her children, Julie Conte of White Plains and Andrew (Theresa) Conte of Florida. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Margo and Andrew and her sister Michele (Ed) Brunner of North Carolina. She is predeceased by her sister Marilyn Giustino and brother Leonard Justino.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:00am, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla.
