Answer a Question, Help Plan White Plains' Transit District
Each week a different question will be posted, giving everyone the ability to offer their opinions.

The public can help shape changes in the downtown White Plains Transit District by answering one question each week.
White Plains Mayor Tom Roach launched a new component of the public engagement plan where the public answers a different question posted every week.
Roach said he knew that not everyone will be able to make it to the public meetings, so the city wanted to do something to be certain everyone is given the ability to participate.

“This represents an additional means of public outreach and will complement the public engagement meetings that have already been scheduled,” he said.
The questions can be accessed directly from the White Plains Transit District website.

Additionally, anyone who has sent an email through the district’s website will receive an email notification whenever a new question is post.
The public can also access the question via the city’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Questions that will be addressed include all major components of the study: traffic, parking, transportation to and from the station, green space and station amenities.
