The Bristal at White Plains this month launched a free program for residents in Westchester County suffering with memory loss, according to officials.

Called Our Place Memory Café, the monthly program “provides a haven for seniors suffering from Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and other memory loss, as well as their family members and caregivers.”

Light refreshments and entertainment are provided in a support group atmosphere. The next program will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at North Street Tavern & Wood Fired Pizza, 1128 North Street, White Plains from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will continue the first Tuesday of every month through April (except for November, which will occur on the first Wednesday due to Election Day).
