The Bristal Assisted Living at White Plains held an International Holocaust Remembrance Day program to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Cantor Mark Hirsch, the son of a Holocaust Survivor chanted the traditional memorial prayer and Bristal residents lit memorial candles in memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

Residents of The Bristal, elected officials and community leaders including White Plains Mayor, Thomas Roach, Reverand William Walker of The Calvary Baptist Church and Former Israeli Defense Force Soldier, Joshua Hyman who grew up in Westchester took part in the program.
