Burke Rehabilitation Hospital Announces Brain Bee Winners

-Neuroscience competition held on Burke's White Plains campus-

The 9th annual Brain Bee competition, hosted by Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, was held recently on Burke’s campus in White Plains. High school students who aspire to careers as brain surgeons or neuroscience researchers competed at the event. From Burke’s and other regional competitions, Brain Bee culminates in an international world championship. The winners of this year’s competition are (l to r): 3rd place, Amanda Kang, a junior at Plainview-Old Bethpage HS; 1st place, Bianca Vama, a senior at Bronx High School of Science; and 2nd place, Nitin Seshadri, a junior at Somers HS. Bianca Vama now will next compete in the National Brain Bee to be held at Kent State.
