Hope AME Zion Church in White Plains. Join local leaders, faith group representatives and other local pro-housing advocates; all are welcome to attend! Both of these composers approached the string quartet form with reverence and some intimidation, with the examples of Haydn and Beethoven looming over them. Brahms is said to have thrown over 20 string quartets into the fireplace before settling on this “No. 1,” and Prokofiev composed his “2nd” while a Moscow evacuee as Nazi air raids bombarded the city.

Jazz On Main

Nate Tota is a New Jersey–based saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He has performed at notable venues including Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Vic’s Jazz Loft, and The Lafayette Bar, and has shared the stage with jazz greats Adam Nussbaum and Gene Perla. Drawing inspiration from the lyrical phrasing of Lester Young, the soulful, blues-infused approach of Cannonball Adderley, and the contemporary sound and groove-oriented sensibility of Braxton Cook, he brings a distinctive and expressive voice to his playing. Nate currently studies at William Paterson University under the direction of Vincent Herring and Gary Smulyan.

The launch grows Flexcar&rsquo;s East Coast footprint and makes its flexible car leases accessible to drivers across the greater New York area.
