Car Careens Into Buffalo Wild Wings Scaffolding: Dramatic Video Released

WHITE PLAINS, NY — White Plains Public Safety has released dramatic footage of a car careening out of control before crashing on a city sidewalk.

The video shows the car becoming airborne before striking scaffolding near the corner of Main Street and Mamaroneck Avenue outside Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday.

Officials used the scary incident as a teachable moment.

"Miraculously, no pedestrians were struck despite heavy foot traffic in the area and the driver was not seriously injured," the officials said, releasing the footage. "Incidents like this are a reminder that things can change in a split second on our roadways, highlighting the importance of defensive driving - especially in areas with heavy traffic and pedestrians."
