Cinnabon Recalling Product That Could Contain Peanuts
The company was notified that an ingredient could possible have the allergen in it.

The possible presence of an allergen is causing Cinnabon to recall its product Cinnabon Stix.
The bakery supplier CSM Bakery Solutions notified the company that there is the possibility of the presence peanut allergens in an ingredient used to make Cinnabon Stix, according to a posting at fda.gov.
Cinnabon Stix are sold in bakery cups, bags or boxes and may have been distributed to Cinnabon retail locations throughout the United States and internationally.

In the lower Hudson Valley, there are two retail Cinnabon locations: in White Plains at the Galleria Mall, 100 Main St., and in Yonkers at the Cross County Shopping Center.
The company said that, while the nutritional and allergen information indicates that the products may contain milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, pecans other tree nuts or traces of nuts, Cinnabon is taking extra measures knowing that peanut allergens have been detected in the ingredients.

Effectively immediately, all Cinnabon bakeries are discontinuing the sale of Cinnabon Stix until it is confirmed the potential source of peanut allergens has been eliminated.
Anyone who has purchased the product is encouraged to discard them if there is the possibly someone with a peanut allergy could come into contact with them.
Cinnabon said it’s not aware of any complaints or illnesses.
