Coronavirus Update: More Than 30% Of Westchester Residents Tested

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The latest numbers for the new coronavirus for Westchester County have been released by the state.

As of Wednesday, there were 303,399 tests taken by county residents to date, or more than 30 percent of the population. Of those, 35,183 were positive.

Of the tests taken Wednesday, 29 were positive out of a total of 4,843.

There have been 1,432 fatalities since the health crisis began.
