Competing at the Westchester County Track and Field Championship at Byram Hills High School on the 19th, the White Plains track and field team finished 11th, with 27 points. Both Mt. Vernon teams were the champions on the day, by wide margins.

Boys

For the Tigers, Tom Johnson was the top points earner, as he won the Long Jump with his best effort going 22-04.75, and then copped the Triple Jump, as he traveled a distance of 45-10.00. Jay Martin was 4th in the High Hurdles, with a clocking of 15:60, Kevin Yates was 5th in the 100, at 11:36, and Chris Carbon was 6th in the 1600, with a time of 4:36.65.

Taylor Powell was 39th in the 100, clocked at 12:26, and was 26th in the 200, timed at 24:49. Tevin Brown was 24th in the 800, with a time of 2:08.28, the 4 x 100 quartet finished 9th, with their time of 45:44, and Saul Thelusma finished 13th in the 400 Hurdles, with a clocking of 63:20.

Girls 

In girls events, Delhi bound Jessica Myrthil finished 3rd in the girls 400, clocked at 58:98, and the 4 x 400 team was 2nd, in 4:07.84. In the 1500, Eleanor Trelstad finished 12th, with a time of 4:07.44, while the 4 x 800 team hit the tape 7th, timed at 10:31.29.

The Tigers were 2nd in the 4 x 400, thanks to their clocking of 4:06.26, while in the 400, Olivia Powell finished 27th, at 66:41. Tori Hamilton was in a 4-way tie in the High Jump, with a height of 4-02.1.

At the regatta in Worcester, Ma. on the 11th, Marist coxswain Chris Leonard (WP-Iona Prep '10) and his Varsity 8 rowing crew finished 3d in their heat, clocked at 6:04.155, and third in the petite final, timed at 6:09.82
