County DPW Commissioner Needs Waiver to Take New Job
Under certain circumstances, the county says employees must wait one year before taking a new job outside of government.
WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester County public works and transportation commissioner is moving to a new job that could require an ethics waiver from legislators.
Jay T. Pisco is set to work for Holzmacher, McLendon and Murrell Consulting Engineers, which has two agreements with county to the tune of $1.7 million, according to the Journal News.
The county has a law stating employees must wait for one year before accepting employment with companies that the county worked with during the outgoing employee’s tenure.
