County Police Officer Injured In Rear-End Crash
The officer was stopped on the shoulder of the ramp that connects the northbound BRP to the eastbound Cross County Parkway.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A Westchester County Police officer was injured Sunday when, officials said, a drunk and unlicensed driver rear-ended his marked patrol car on an exit ramp of the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers. The officer was stopped on the shoulder of the ramp that connects the northbound BRP to the eastbound Cross County Parkway when the crash occurred around 1:50 a.m.
A Chevy Impala, driven by Natalie Estrada, 24, of White Plains, was traveling on the exit ramp, left the lane of travel and slammed into the rear of the officer's patrol car.
The officer was taken by Empress Ambulance to the Westchester Medical Center with neck and back injuries.

He was treated and released. No one in the Impala was injured.
Estrada was charged with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors, and failure to use the designated lane of travel, a summons.

She was booked at county police headquarters in Hawthorne and released.
Estrada is scheduled to appear in Yonkers City Court April 24.
