County Police Seek the Public's Help to ID Bank Robbery Suspect

The Wells Fargo branch in Mount Kisco was robbed this morning.

Westchester County Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch on North Bedford Road in Mount Kisco this morning.

The man, who was wearing a hard hat and a reflective vest, passed a note to a teller at 9:20 a.m.demanding cash, police said. The teller complied and the man left the bank on foot, heading south on North Bedford Road, which is also known as Route 117.

No weapon was displayed and no customers were in the bank at the time.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium to dark complexion, a thin beard, and in his 30s.

Anyone who observed the man in the vicinity of the bank is asked to contact the county police General Investigations Unit hotline at (800) 898-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential.
